AWW, FUGGING HELL!

Not once, but TWICE have I accidently pressed the "Back" button while writing this god-forsaken description and lost everything I wrote!



Damn it, damn it, damn it! I'll get it right this time, I swear!

This is Togusa from Ghost in the Shell, although, more accurately, Stand Alone Complex because of his appearance. I've been meaning to drawr him for a very long time now.

So yeah. You wouldn't tell it by lookin' at me, but I'm a really big Ghost in the Shell fan. I am completely addicted to GITS. I have the movies and the manga and the soundtracks and the novel and if I had enough money, I would have the entire anime series, too, without having to borrow it from somebody else. I also have a strange fascination with tachicomas, and most of all, Togusa. 'Cause I dunno, man... Crispin Freeman casted as Togusa in the English SAC dub... It's pretty damn sweet.

I am so upset that I couldn't drawr him with his gun! (Rather, I went with the electro-shocky glove-thingy you use to knock the freakin' crap out of cyborgs with.) I totally love his gun, the Mateba. It's a revolver. It's old-timey and not very ammo efficent conisidering that the rest of Section 9 uses automatics, and because of that, they NEVER STOP BUGGING HIM ABOUT IT. OH, MY GOD.

But seriously, man. Togusa's really cool. Everybody's always all up ins about Batou and the Major, but Togusa is as important as they are, and offers an interesting contrast to their characters. And just between you and me, I am deeply in love with him. Just don't tell his wife I said that.



Hmm. Right.

So onto the technical review! This was a drawring I had not intended to be elaborate at all. In fact, I didn't want to spend more than fifteen minutes on it. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. SO MUCH FOR THAT. And even worse, I has stopped drawing my picture of V to draw this here Togusa, and it's almost impossible for me to start up stopped pictures again.

Luckily for me, this picture turned out pretty gosh darn awesome, although I had to crop out the bottom of the picture since it was too weak. I had planned the coloring, but the background totally came out of nowhere. I just went to the stock photo category, snagged some cool pics (and of course, the obligatory picture of a basset hound), and slapped 'em on. It worked so well, I might use that method again someday.

Ahh. So there's my long-winded description for you! I had to restart two times to get it right. I think it's taken me over an hour and half. Jesus.
